Experienced Agents
Service is the operative word in corporate travel management. However, economic pressure has driven many larger travel firms to resort to low cost reservation centers. GlobalPoint Travel Solutions does not subscribe to the reservations pool concept, which, like airline reservations centers, represent the antithesis of service.
At GlobalPoint every corporate client is handled by dedicated travel consultants who are intimately familiar with the procedures, policies, and preferences of the accounts they exclusively manage. Stability among our staff is reflected in our client retention record. We have experienced less than 2% turnover among our corporate clientele over the past 15 years. Importantly, the average corporate travel experience of our staff is eleven years.
Internet Airfares (BookingBuilder)
We place a high premium on being able to guarantee the lowest airfare at the time or reservations/ticketing. Our BookingBuilder web-based system is integrated into our Global Distribution System which allows agents to simultaneously compare a wide variety of web fares. As a matter of policy, we check and compare airline and retail sites (including Travelocity, Southwest.com, Expedia, usair.com, JetBlue.com, etc) giving us a vast array of fare options. BookingBuilder allows us to exploit the internet offerings of carriers along side our other fare sources to ensure that the best possible deal is available to our clients.
Quality Assurance
- Automated checks of all travel records for our key corporate accounts
- QC checks include pre-ticketing reports to expose any and all policy violations
- Robotic quality control system monitors a variety of indices including policy compliance, seat selection, waitlist status, and low fare search
