GlobalPoint Meetings & Incentives is one of San Diego’s premier destination companies specializing in meeting management, sales incentive and performance motivation programs and group air movements. We arrange a wide variety of events: from small intimate gatherings for senior staff and board members to events with over 1,000 participants worldwide.

Destination and Site Selection

GPM&I provides guidance with both destination and site selection.  Our extensive database can provide detailed information on thousands of destinations and properties, saving you valuable time and money.  Long-standing relationships with numerous properties and suppliers backed by our extensive buying power, allows us to enjoy the most favorable rates as well as negotiated “extras” for our clients.  Site inspections are both highly recommended and encouraged.

Hotel Coordination and contract negotiating

Our experienced team will negotiate the best possible rates for our clients including food and beverage guarantees, meeting room space, upgrades and concessions.  As liaison we will keep you updated on all deposit deadlines, room block cut-off and all pertinent contract information.  We will secure meeting and function space, assist with menu selections, room-set and audio/visual requirements.  We are also available to oversee your room block status and attendee rooming lists.

Program Development

From briefings and seminars to large conventions and incentive programs, we have the knowledge and know-how to help you create a most memorable experience for your attendees.  We are available to consult on all aspects of your program development.  This includes conference/event flow, agenda creation, timelines, budget, theme and off-site events, attendee evaluations and registration forms. Our priority is to meet and exceed the goals of your group.

Event Support

Just think of us as an extension of your own staff.  We are here to make sure that every important detail of your event is developed, advanced and completed with the highest standard of satisfaction.  Our program support menu includes budget management, deposit timelines, vendor management (securing bids, disbursement of checks/final invoice review), ordering VIP gifts and incentive promotional pieces, ordering signs/banners, simultaneous interpreting services, coordination of special and off-site events including transportation, coordination of spouse/children’s programs and all tournaments.  Keep in mind that our menu is not limited to the items listed above and can include any services your group requires.

Onsite Support and Staffing

Our team will go on-site to assist you in  the details that need o be managed during each event.  This includes coordinating and attending all pre-event meetings with hotels and vendors.  Overseeing all room set-ups and audio/visual set-up, catered functions and monitoring of in-house attendee counts for food & beverage guarantees.  We will coordinate and manage staff for registration, hospitality/information and tournament desks as well as oversee all special and off-site events.  Also included is the distribution and collection of event documentation (registration forms, evaluation forms, tickets, agendas etc.).  Our goal is to reduce your stress on-site and keep guest’s satisfaction up to the highest possible level.

Air Transportation Management

As a San Diego Travel Group Company we can handle all air travel ticketing using negotiated volume discounts with all major carriers.  In addition, our software will scan all airline and fare combinations to guarantee the lowest possible fare at the time of booking.  Our Air Transportation Package includes: Negotiated airline contract for reduced rates, arrival/departure reports for coordination of hotel functions, 24-hour automation to continuously check for lowest fares, preferred seating and waitlist clearance, issue of airline tickets and appropriate documentation for each attendee, final quality control check on all tickets issued, distribution of documents to attendees by predetermined method, management of airline contract for deposits, drop dates and earned tickets ratio and after hours full-service travel line with full access to reservations and travel profile.

Ground Transportation Coordination

If it’s an airport “meet and greet”, group transportation to and from the airport to hotel, or just to get your group off to your special event in style, we can help.  Our team will assist with car, bus and limousine rentals, secure transportation for off-site events, contract for meet and greet service upon arrival at airports or assist in any other transportation needs you may have.
